SOFIA VERA VALDEZ

Born and raised from the Pearl of the Orient Seas (It's the Philippines!) and coming to Boise, Idaho two and a half years ago, I have learned a lot experiencing these unique cultures and meeting new people from different walks of life everyday.  It' s still a surreal experience for me living in a country that's 7000 miles away from home, but I take it as an opportunity for me to grow as a person and explore new exciting things.

If there's one thing I like besides eating and binge watching shows, that's film and video editing. Media is such a powerful tool that's used for communication, which I believe is an important fundamental of our lives. With one click, you can easily send messages--good or bad--to people.
